Google Art Project

Over the last few days I visited the Moma Museum in new York, the Uffizi in Florence, the Tate in Britain and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. Thoroughly enjoyable. No, I did not travel, I did it from the comfort of my Studio. How? Using Google Art Project. What is it? Quoting the site, its...

A virtual tour is nothing new, but what makes these online art tours innovative is not their concept, but their execution.You can either view the museums with Street View technology and/or Artwork View, high resolution images of selected paintings from the Museums. 


Today I think I'll go to the Metropolitan.
