Open Verse

Last Friday, at St. James Cavalier, I attended to the opening of an exhibition by my friend and fellow artist Trevor Borg, entitled open Verse. I have known Trevor for quite a few years now and followed his work ever since. It is interesting to see the way the artist evolved and this exhibition clearly shows this evolution.

I was positively surprised by some of the works exhibited, especially by his latest works. The artist also launched his new website, for those of you that are interested this is the link www.trevorborg.com.

Carnival Ball

Last Saturday Lions Club organised a Carnival Ball at the Radison Hotel in Ghajn Tuffieha. There were also present a number of paintings by different artists, for sale by silent auction for the occasion. Proceeds from sales were in aid of the CAMPAIGN SIGHTFIRST II. It turned out to be quite a success. Being one of the artists exhibiting there i would like to thank Lions for the opportunity given to local artists to exhibit their work on such an occasion.

pray

If i heard the news correctly, the Maltese Archdiocese just issued a statement encouraging the Maltese to pray to god for rain. I don't think that god has anything to do with this. Maybe the church should correct its statement and encourage the Maltese not to vote for politicians that are not sensitive to environmental issues, not to buy products that harm the environment, make pressure on our government to become a leader against the fight to global warming, etc. etc. etc., but that might be asking too much....

...much easier to pray!

On a more artistic note, here is my latest .......
